Abstract

The copper - mineralization in the Pb-Zn-Veins from Haji-Abad near Assad-Abad is examined by the technique of ore microscopy for the first time.
This deposit is situated in the crystalline complex of Hamada in western Iran.
The copper-ore is strongly oxidized but the primary paragenesis could be reconstructed from relics. This primary mineral association is described as well as the secondary formation due to descending water. The geological position of this deposit and the conditions of ore formation are discussed.
