The natural crystals of Chah—Khuni mine in Anarak, near Isfahan, are found to have regular geometrical shapes. These crystals are of low brilliance and hardness. Our chemical investigation indicates that lead and molybdenum cat ions in large quantities and oxygen as anions participate in the formation of these crystals.
X—ray diffraction structural analysis shows that most of the spectral features correspond to Wulfenite and the rest may correspond to other additional minerals.
