Abstract

Demavand is a strato-volcan among folded areas of Alp-Himalaya aged young quartenary wich is chemically similar to continental volcanoes, and two types of volcanic rocks; one saturated of silice, and the other under saturated with silice, have been developed in it.
Its lavas is alkali from sodic type and have tolerated a complete differentiation in way that earlier types are basic, never ones TRACF{YT, and some are DACITIC. According to a comparative study wich have been made between Demavand and central massif, France (Mont-Dore), I noticed a great deal of similarity between them.
