Abstract

Prof. Dr. Ahmad Parsa have started to study on Iran Flora since 1933 and maked a herbarium in 1945 at Natural History Museum and after that this specimens were transferred to Tehran University in 1956.
He published Flora of Iran in 10 volumes and in those volumes authorized many new species for Iran. Now about 75 species of type specimens of Prof. Parsa are being kept in the Herbarium, college of Pharmacy, Medical Sciences University of Tehran with other
specimens that he and his collaborators have collected from many parts of Iran.
